As a member of the faculty of the School of Governance, Risk and Compliance at the Steinbeis Hochschule, a private university in Berlin, Germany, Marschdorf teaches fraud examination, corporate governance, enterprise risk management and compliance risk management. He uses case studies in international governance failures as manifested in spectacular bankruptcies. He teaches classes in the Master of Criminal Investigations program as well as for the MBA program in Governance Risk & Compliance. His case studies cover the failures of Worldcom, Enron, Parmalat (Italy), Yinguanxia (China) and SinoForest (Canada). He also co-teaches a case simulation on a bank fraud scenario based on a true-to-life case. Marschdorf is accredited as examiner for the final MBA and MA exams.
